Community Outreach

Loneliness is villainous. It is a thief, which robs our community of its sweet and liberating joy. Memorial Drive Church of Christ makes an effort to shine light on this dark bandit.

The body of Christ works in tandem with God putting ministers, ministries, and projects in motion that by all efforts we might rescue some from debilitating discouragement. Society hungers for the true God. They have lost their appetite through "church-anity", which feels anemic and dull. Yet, hearts yearn for authentic links to the Lord of real life.

Whether through prayer, the ladies' Christmas Brunch or the Fall Festival, everything we do connects as a door for someone in our community to enter. AA cheers a number of great men and women on to health; Small Groups keep individuals from being lost in the crowd; and our food pantry serves many people weekly. We teach English as a second language as well as teach conversational Spanish. We help support the Hope Harbor Children's Home and the Day Center for the Homeless in Tulsa. God has opened the door for us to minister to many of the major league baseball players and teams. Our desire is that every person feel needed, loved, and most important.
