Abundant Life

One of my favorite things Jesus said was that he came to earth that me might have life; abundant life. For so, so many years I connected his path with that of my early childhood experience with church....one huge boring and useless waste. I really believe that's how much of the unreached world views him, still. I can't recall how long it was after I came into the church that I began to hear what it was he favored. Much expounding had been done as to what he was against. I know it sounds strange to say this, but for so long it just seemed God was pretty ticked with the whole lot of us. It is most refreshing, still, to hear him call us to life. He calls us to victory. He calls us to hope. He calls us to a most amazing phrase: joy inexpressible. Isn't that a fascinating concept? I have that life in Him. It's too much living to get done from the little body He has granted me....but I try, nonetheless! What living we have to do/get to do and then when we die.....what new living we have to do. This is what I encourage you with today: enjoy being the one God made you to be. He blessed us with you being you. Thank Him! Terry
